Intercultural growth is not about perfection.
It is about becoming more aware, more skillful, and more courageous in how we engage across differences.

Why I Founded The Lab

My commitment to intercultural leadership began in Carson, California, a multicultural and multilingual community where difference was part of everyday life. Those early experiences taught me that difference is not an abstract concept. It is lived in relationships, neighborhoods, classrooms, workplaces, and communities.

That foundation deepened during the four years I lived and worked in Kosovo. Learning the language, building relationships, and navigating daily life in a post-conflict context taught me that culture cannot be understood from a distance. It must be approached with humility, patience, and a willingness to listen before assuming.

I founded The Intercultural Leadership Lab because I believe intercultural growth requires more than good intentions or one-time training. It requires reflection, practice, feedback, and intentional action over time.

The Lab offers practical, reflective, research-informed spaces where individuals, teams, and organizations can move from awareness to action and lead across difference with greater humility, clarity and skill.
